Join us for the Ed “Porky” Oliver Day Golf Outing as we celebrate 125 years of golf, community, and tradition at Ed Oliver Golf Club — Delaware’s oldest golf course. This 4-person scramble will bring together golfers of all skill levels for a memorable day. Registration includes 18-holes of golf, continental breakfast, range balls, tee gift, hot dog lunch, post-round buffet, and team prizes. Optional hole contests, raffles, mulligans, and other fundraising activities benefiting the American Cancer Society will be available during event check-in for participants who wish to take part and support the cause.

  • 7:30 AM: Registration & Continental Breakfast
  • 8:45 AM: Rules & Annoucements
  • 9:00 AM: Shotgun Start
  • 1:30 PM: Complete Round
  • 1:30 PM: Buffet & Awards in Wilmington & Dover Rooms

Following the golf outing, the celebration continues with our Ed “Porky” Oliver Day Community Open House at Ed Oliver Golf Club. As Delaware’s oldest golf course celebrates 125 years, we invite the community to come out and enjoy an afternoon focused on accessibility, local partnerships, and the game of golf. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the facility, connect with community organizations and partners, and experience everything that makes Ed Oliver a welcoming place for golfers and families of all backgrounds and skill levels. This free community event is designed to celebrate the people, history, and relationships that have made the club a part of the Wilmington area for generations.
