It's that time of year again. Aerification of our greens will take place this Monday and Tuesday (subject to change for weather).
For the average person, aerification is a nuisance. Twice a year, our agro team punches tons of tiny holes in all of our greens for no reason except to ruin an otherwise great day of golf, right? Not so fast.
Aerification is a very necessary evil. I can spend the next few hours typing a very informative article on the topic, but some guy on the internet did that for me (thanks GCSAA!). So for more information about this process, check out this link.
